Window Light

Sense of Scale:

I was able to capture a person under the ellipse to show the size relationship. It was windy and raining so I had to edit the picture to make it what it is now.

Positive and Negative Space:

Different, but I wanted to use this installation for the negative space inside each isolated ellipse. Could possibly used this as framing because the front ellipse has both ellipses in its view.

Contrast:

For my hallway, I bought a rechargeable rose nightlight from Amazon. I enjoy how the hallway seems in complete darkness. To make the edges of the rose visible, I adjusted the texture and clarity. To prevent the light from becoming too much of a part of the background, I also increased the contrast.

Hard/Soft Light:

So I painted a black accent wall in my room some months ago, who knew I would be using it as my backdrop. In this photo I had to set a ring light on my desk to capture me along with a timer. I made some serious faces at first, but I later decided to just have fun. I was able to explore with it a little bit more by modifying the vibrance, texture, clarity, and the white & black point with the use of Lightroom and the techniques I learned in class. Overall, I believe I have discovered a new profile picture.. lol

BUYING NORTH CAROLINA w/ Shawn McLean
Shawn McLean, a trusted realtor in North Carolina, understands the importance of educating potential buyers, and goes above and beyond to provide valuable insights into the local market. As we walked through the development, Shawn pointed out the unique features of each property, but also took the time to share his knowledge of the market sector, helping potential buyers to navigate the often-murky waters of real estate. I set out to capture the soul of each home, from its initial construction stages to its ultimate form. Shawn Mclean pointed out the unique features of each property as we traveled around the development, emphasizing their potential to satisfy the demands and wants of any possible buyer. Knowing that my photos will play a critical role in helping others realize the beauty and promise of these homes. As the days ended, I mused on the ability of a great realtor to bring these areas to life and genuinely shine.
